For many settlement agencies, the client base has traditionally been permanent residents, specifically those who arrived in Canada as refugees. Increasingly, agencies are called on to provide services to other types of clients: international students, temporary foreign workers, work visa holders, etc.

In this two-session presentation, organizations from across the Atlantic region outline what a non-traditional client is and what are the challenges faced by settlement organizations when trying to reach those clients. Participants will gain practical knowledge on communication strategies and on existing tools that can be used to let clients know about the services available to them.

Session 1: Watch and learn about many things, including the “LEGO approach”!

Session 2: Watch and learn more about communications planning, video creation, messaging apps, etc.

Special thanks to the following organizations for their efforts in pulling this webinar together!
