Chantel Chapman founded The Trauma of Money™, an accredited course certifying professionals in facilitating and healing money trauma. She is a leading educator in financial trauma, economic justice, and somatic money healing. With a background in financial literacy, fintech consulting, and facilitation, Chantel’s work bridges the gap between traditional financial education and trauma-informed approaches. She has taught at universities, financial institutions, and community organizations, bringing an innovative lens to financial well-being that acknowledges systemic barriers, intergenerational patterns, and personal healing.
Chantel’s highly anticipated book, The Trauma of Money, is set for release in September 2025. Through her work, she challenges traditional financial narratives, advocating for economic justice and empowering individuals to transform their relationship with money. Chantel is a settler of European descent who works and resides on the stolen traditional lands of the Kwantlen (kwaant·luhn), Musqueam (“mus-kwee-um”), and Tsawwassen (saa·wa·sn) peoples.
