How Groups Working with Refugee Claimants can Engage with the “We’re Better Together” Campaign
January 28 @ 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm AST
As support for immigrants, and refugees has been backsliding in Canada, the “We’re Better Together” campaign has been created to improve public opinion and build momentum for an inclusive immigration system. In this training, we’ll cover the campaign’s messaging, overall strategy, and how to adapt the campaign to support your work with refugee claimants. Participants will gain a practical overview of our campaign’s Message Guide and learn how to apply the Race Class Gender Narrative effectively.
This training will be delivered in English with the support of a French interpreter, and presenters will be able to engage in questions bilingually.
