Immigrants and AI adoption in Canadian Businesses

Discover whether immigrant-owned businesses and workforce composition are associated with the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in Canada. Huju Liu (Statistics Canada) will share findings from the Survey of Digital Technology and Internet Use. The study links this survey with employer-employee administrative data from the Canadian Employer-Employee Dynamics Database. This combined data helps show how immigrant ownership and workforce composition relate to AI adoption.
