Supporting Organizations Supporting Immigrants
The Atlantic Region Association of Immigrant Serving Agencies (a.k.a. ARAISA) is a non-profit umbrella organization that has been providing support to the settlement and integration sector in Atlantic Canada for the past 25 years.
ARAISA currently counts 16 Anglophone and Francophone member organizations in the provinces of New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. We are a growing organization and are continually striving to increase representation of the sector through our membership.
Our ultimate goal is to help settlement and integration organizations in the region fulfill their mission and help newcomers create a new life in Atlantic Canada.
To help professionals in the sector successfully work from home, here’s a directory of resources.
In order to support our members and the sector in general, we have compiled on this page a few resources to help professionals in the sector.
In February 2020, ARAISA hosted its first series of two webinars: Vicarious Trauma and its Impact & Staff Care Policies. If you missed them, don’t worry, you can watch the recordings!
