This professional development event is an opportunity to build frontline staff capacity in the workplace on the theme of diversity. This capacity-building event aims to provide tools and strategies to frontline staff to serve newcomer communities effectively.
Join us for an engaging event focused on breaking down the barriers faced by diverse and 2SLGBTQIA+ newcomers in accessing services. Learn from experts about identifying specific barriers that diverse newcomers may face. Discover how to provide respectful and inclusive support while addressing biases and safeguarding privacy. The event will also showcase innovative projects and programs making a difference in the sector.
ARAISA will cover eligible travel costs.
The session is limited to two representatives per member organization, though additional spots may be available if extra places open up.
