With support from the IRCC, ARAISA has created a website to help both Settlement and Integration service providers and employers navigate the Atlantic Immigration Program.
ARAISA has been involved with the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) since it was in its pilot stage. ARAISA played an important role in the development of the AIP. We continue to support the program by writing reports, bringing together interest holders, and collecting feedback from service providers and employers about the program and its mandatory intercultural competency training (ICT). ARAISA also issues certificates of completion to employers.
ARAISA created a website to help service providers and employers navigate the AIP. As part of the effort to create welcoming workplaces for newcomers to Atlantic Canada’s labour market, the website provides ICT information and materials for facilitators, additional training for employers, a service map and other resources.
