    In the first session, participants will learn about the fundamental principles of cybersecurity. You’ll be equipped with best practices for secure online behaviour, from recognizing and mitigating common cyber threats to safeguarding sensitive information. You’ll gain valuable insights into the types of data handled in the settlement and integration sector and discover how to secure this data effectively. Learn how to strengthen your defences against potential data breaches and protect your organization.

    In the second session, we will explore the legal frameworks for digital security and privacy in the Atlantic region. You’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape, including provincial privacy laws and the responsibilities they entail for both organizations and individuals.
    Discover strategies for developing and implementing data security policies within your organization, seamlessly integrating them into existing frameworks. You’ll also learn how to establish protocols for incident response and reporting.
