This report explores the impact of immigration in Atlantic Canada. Drawing on demographic data as well as newcomer voices, it highlights key ways that immigration is shaping social, cultural, and economic growth in the region. This research suggests that immigration can help offset the effects of an aging population and declining natural growth rate; strengthen the economy by addressing labour needs and business growth; and enrich society through increased diversity, which can also inform how the region advances truth and reconciliation.
